Jose Alfredo's story

José is 46 years old and lives in his own house with his wife and kids. He makes a living growing grains, especially beans and other vegetables like radishes, cilantro, güisquil (a regional squash variety). With much hard work, José maintains two plots of land. On these he grows his crops in order to provide for his family. After sowing and reaping the harvest, José sells part of his yield and uses the rest to feed his family. This is his main source of income. José has many good references from the community. He is a hardworking, responsible, and honest man.

Each day, he feels like the necessities of his house are more and more. That is why he is requesting a loan from INTEGRAL: in order to buy supplies such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc. He hopes to increase the yield from his crops, which will allow him to get by day to day, seeing as he has no other source of income.
