A loan of $1,325 helped to purchase rice, beans, pasta, sugar, milk, soft drinks, and other merchandise for his business.

Dionisio's story

A loan of 51,750 pesos allows Dionisio to purchase rice, beans, pasta, sugar, milk, soft drinks, and other merchandise for his business. Dionisio has had his grocery store for over twenty years. He has supported himself with it his entire life and supports his children, who are ages eight and ten. His wife is a teacher in the public school system.

“I took out this loan because I want to increase my sales to support my family and make enough for my children's education," Dionisio tells us. His goal for the future is to diversify his business and utilize a space to sell spare auto and motorcycle parts, since at this time whoever wants to buy spare parts has to travel to the nearest community.
