Hiep was born in 1977. She has two children who currently attend primary and secondary schools. Her husband works as a doorman for a bank. His income is about 4,000,000 VND per month.
Hiep grows rice and raises pigs and chickens to earn a living. She earns 3,000,000 VND from it every month. Her family’s total earnings are about 7,000,000 VND per month.
She has been participating in SEDA's credit program since 2009. In the last cycle she borrowed 7,630,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle she would like to borrow 8,502,000 VND to buy feed for pigs and chickens.
For the future she wants to let her children go to school until higher education and enlarge her farm.
