A loan of $500 helped to purchase additional sacks of charcoal.

Kadhengi's story

Kadhengi has continued to experience growth in his business. He was able to pay for his children's school fees because of the prior loan. He now intends to apply for a loan of 41,850 Kenyan shillings to purchase additional stock of charcoal. Kadhengi believes that the income from this new loan will help him cater to the family's needs, including paying for the education of his children. The main challenge has been the limited stock during the rainy seasons, and he looks forward to purchasing a truck in order to transport the charcoal.
