José is 61 years old, is married and has seven children. From childhood, he grew up working with the company of his parents and grandparents in agriculture, cultivating corn, beans and sorghum. At the age of 20, he married and procreated seven children, who are all adults now. He is a farmer, rancher, and also devoted to raise pigs. He has been able to grow his children with all these activities.

To purchase agricultural supplies, he travels to the nearest town which is 10 kilometers from the place where he lives. He travels by bus and it takes an hour to arrive. He buys animals in places near his home.

The loan he is requesting to Fundación Campo is to buy a cow and two pigs, to repair leaks, and to collect his crops of corn and beans. With the investment, he will have greater variety of animals, which he will sell to receive income. Also, he will collect his crops in the optimal time.
