Juan Cecilio's story

Juan Cecilio is 53 years old, single, and has one daughter. He lives with her in the city of Ventanas in Los Ríos Province. He belongs to the communal bank San Francisco, located in Pantano, within the canton of Ventanas. Its members work farming and raising animals.

Juan Cecilio is a farmer and also raises chickens and pigs. He is requesting this loan to buy seeds, pesticides, weed-killers, and organic fertilizer. This loan will allow him to have higher income. His dream is to continue working and invest so that he can make a profit from his products. The challenges he faces are the pests on his crops. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports.
