A loan of $600 helped to buy seeds, urea fertilizer, pigs, and animal feed.

Pablo Daniel's story

Pablo Daniel, 52, is in a common-law relationship and has two children. He lives with his children and wife in the city of Ventanas in Los Ríos Province. He's a member of 24 de Septiembre Communal Bank, located in the San Gabriel area of Ventanas Canton, where people make a living in agriculture and livestock.

Pablo Daniel makes a living in agriculture growing corn and rice, and he also raises chickens and pigs. He's requesting the loan to buy seeds, urea, Ranger and organic fertilizer, pigs, and "polvillo" [animal feed made from rice]. With the help of the loan he'll be able to buy the fertilizer he needs for planting.

His dream is to have a farm and expand his business. The challenges he faces are all the obstacles and improving himself thanks to the loan.

In his free time he likes to play pool and ball, and, at night, watch television.
