Petre's story

Petre lives in Changamwe area of Coast Province, Kenya. He is a married businessman who owns a retail shop. The business has been in operation for almost one year. In this shop, Petre sells sugar, flour, soap, salt, etc. He is also involved in a transport business. The challenge he is facing is bad debts.

Petre learnt about Milango from a friend and joined with the aim of accessing credit to improve his business operations. Petre is applying for a loan of 21,100 Kenyan shillings to increase his stock of sugar, flour, cooking fat, etc., and improve his three wheeler vehicle. The extra income from the loan will be added to his savings to improve the standard of living of his family. He has an ambition to own a wholesale shop.
