A loan of $375 helped to invest in purchasing merchandise for his business.

Aldo Felipe's story

Aldo is 48 years old, single, and sells caramels, chewing gum, sweets, and some clothing items. He also sells telephone cards and has a calling location on a central avenue in the city of La Paz.

The loan will be his 1st through this institution. Aldo will use the loan to buy merchandise to stock his business, including sweets and telephone cards. He is soliciting this loan due to a lack of capital, which is why he was interested and approached our institution.

Aldo is confronting challenges in his business, mainly the competition in the zone is too much. He began the business only recently. Previously, Aldo was an electrical technician but, unfortunately, that business failed to produce earnings and he had to look for an alternative. Aldo will utilize future loans to continue purchasing merchandise, like recharging cards and more caramels, in order to have something to offer his customers.

Aldo's desire for the business is to remain in El Anaquel, where he is presently located. The stand he uses belongs to his brother and he is just borrowing it. He hopes to consolidate his position in this market and to buy a sales post and, thus, in this way, to increase his earnings.
