Than was born in 1960. She has six children. Her five daughters are adults. Her son is learning at high school. She and her husband raise chickens and grow rice to earn a living. Than is also a bricklayer to earn more money for her family. Her income is about 4,500,000 VND. Her family’s total earnings are about 13,500,000 VND per month.
Than has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2006. In the last cycle she borrowed 8,502,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 9,810,000 VND to buy food for chickens. She always wants to enlarge her chicken farm.
