Sunguchini Group's story

Richardi, who is in his late 20s, is married with one child, who goes to school.

He has been selling food for three years now. He works from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be his first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania, which he wants to use for buying a fridge and to restock the inventory in his food store. His dream is to one day be able to open a grocery store.

Richardi will share this loan with his loan group "Sunguchini," which has a total of 10 members who hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
