Nana's story

Nana is married and has four children. Nana is a fish monger and she also sells kenkey (a sourdough dumpling dish) in Aburasa, near Elmina. She has operated this business for the past six years. Her husband is a tailor.

Nana uses her income to help her husband pay for the general upkeep of their home. Nana will use the loan to purchase bags of maize and fresh fish to fry. With the new profits, Nana plans to expand her business.
