A loan of $600 helped to buy sweaters, scarves, gloves, wool hats, and silver jewelry.

Faustina's story

This is Faustina. She belongs to the communal bank “Las Triunfadoras” in the district of Andahuaylillas in the Quispicanchis province of Cusco, Peru. She continues with the sale of traditional crafts, mainly knitted items like sweaters, scarves, gloves, and wool hats, but also articles of silver jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. She sells them in a tourist market in the town in the town square. Faustina this time requires the loan to buy merchandise to capitalize her business.

Faustina is very thankful to Kiva for allowing her to continue in her economic activity and with this work bring sustenance home.
