Carlos worked for a government office for a time but his income was low so he decided it would be best to go into cabinet-making. He’s been doing this for many years and has much experience. He manufactures all types of wood furniture like tables, chairs, living room furniture, china cabinets, armoires, file cabinets, doors and others. He has a good clientele in his community.

He’s asking for another loan which will be his second ODEF cycle. It’s for 21,000 Lempiras that he’ll use to buy wood, stain, varnish, sandpaper, glue and other supplies needed to manufacture furniture. His goal is to have his shop well-stocked with wood and supplies needed to work well and be able to grow economically to improve his family’s quality of life.

Don Carlos, tiene 59 años de edad, es casado tiene 4 hijos y vive en el sector Cofradia, municipio de San Pedro Sula. Don Carlos trabajo un tiempo en una empresa gubernamental pero los ingresos eran muy pocos y mejor decidió dedicarse a su taller de ebanistería. Ya tiene muchos años de dedicarse a realizar esta actividad y cuenta con mucha experiencia. El fabrica todo tipo de muebles de madera como ser: mesas, sillas, muebles de sala, chineros, roperos, gaveteros, puertas y otros. Tiene su buena clientela en la comunidad donde vive. El está solicitando otro préstamo el cual es el segundo ciclo con ODEF y es por la cantidad de 21,000 Lempiras, este préstamo lo invertirá en la compra de madera, color, barniz, lija, pegamento y otros materiales para la fabricación de muebles. Su meta es mantener su taller abastecido de madera e insumos que necesita para trabajar bien y así poder crecer económicamente para mejorar su calidad de vida familiar.
