Marlyn Mariuxi's story

Marlyn Mariuxi, 23, is a single mother of a little girl. She lives with her daughter in the city of Ventanas, Los Ríos Province. She’s a member of the “24 de Septiembre” communal bank located in Recinto San Gabriel belonging to Ventanas Canton; they work in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Marlyn Mariuxi works in agriculture and also sells cards, recharges and has phone booths. She’s requesting the loan to buy cards, recharges, urea, insecticide, Ranger [herbicide] and organic manure. With help from the loan she will be able to buy phone cards and invest in her crops.

Her dream is to become a good merchant. The challenge she faces is to earn enough profits. She enjoys being an entrepreneur in her free time; she’s always looking for other ways to generate income. She enjoys driving her brother’s car.
