A loan of $400 helped to pay her children's monthly tuition fees.

Yemny Lidis's story

Yemny, 35, lives in Ica with her two children who she loves and are her main reason for living. She’s a very kind, hardworking, enthusiastic person who focuses all her efforts into moving her little ones forward because she’s both mother and father for them.

Thanks to her efforts, Yemny studied to be a teacher but due to various reasons was unable to exercise her profession. She likes to work in her free time and on occasion pampers her little ones treating them to delicious charcoal grilled chicken.

On her own initiative and with much effort and enthusiasm, Yemny works providing customer service at a local gas station. She starts work every day very early in the morning and can work about 8 hours daily. She believes she does well because she’s very responsible and feels good doing her work.

Yemny is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to their help she will be able to pay her children’s monthly tuition fees. She hopes this way to insure her children’s education and wellbeing because she wants her little ones to become good professionals and to have a better future than she’s had and she will continue working and striving to reach her dream of owning a house and a small business.
