Sounday Sèvèho's story

Soundahy Sèvèho is 37 years old and lives in Benin. He finished primary school. His wife, Mélanie, is a vendor. They have five children in their care, some of whom are in school. Three of the children’s are the couple’s own children. Soundahy Sèvèho lives together with his wife and children and, jointly with his wif,e provides for various family needs. In order to support his family, for about a dozen years Soundahy Sèvèho has been working as a tailor in his own shop. As a parallel business activity, he sells firewood and various items (such as rice and vegetable oil) out of his home. Soundahy Sèvèho stocks up in a town of Benin. With the goal of meeting demand and increasing his sales volume and his revenues, Soundahy Sèvèho is seeking a loan from ALIDé for the fourth time. This loan will allow him to expand his business and to earn a greater profit. The prior loans have been duly repaid.
