Nelson's story

Nelson lives in Changamwe, Kenya. He is a married father of two school going children. He runs a bureau which has been in operation for five years. He is also employed elsewhere and has therefore hired four other staff for his stationery business. Nelson is applying for a loan of 31,450 Kenya shillings to purchase additional stationery goods such as photocopy paper, books, pens, envelopes etc. He learned about Milango from a client and joined in order to access credit. He has the target of getting a larger space for his business in the future. He would like to own a consultancy firm and acquire more capital for the growth of his business. Nelson is proud to be a member of Milango as this has helped him purchase assets for his business. He will use the additional income from this loan to pay for his children’s school fees.
