San Jorge Group's story

San Jorge Communal Bank is made up of eight members, seven women and one man who make a living in various jobs. The president of the bank, María, is 47 years old and has six school-age children. She makes a living selling cosmetics via catalogue. She sells her products on foot, visiting homes and public and private offices in the city of La Paz.

This is her second loan with the institution. María's going to use this loan to buy cosmetics and jewelry wholesale and on sale to offer her customers a variety of products and increase her profits. The reason for this loan is to continue improving her business. She's going to use the profits to continue buying a variety of beauty products.

María's a very hardworking person. She's happy about this opportunity because it's her only job that allows her to support her family.
