Constance's story

Constance is a resident of the Mombasa area of the Coast province in Kenya. She is a mother of six and runs a soap making firm. The business has been in operation for eight years. She began it with her limited savings. She learned about Milango through an employee and joined with the aim of accessing credit to improve the operation of her business. Her main challenge is inflation. Constance is applying for a loan of 41,850 Kenya shillings to buy additional stock of coconut oil, perfumes and other chemicals used in the soap manufacture. She will use the extra income from the loan to set up another center. She aspires to open a larger trading firm.
