Joseph's story

Joseph is a 41-year-old businessman. He is married to Florence and they are blessed with three children. Joseph operates a butchery as his primary business and a hotel [restaurant] with the support of his wife as his secondary business. He has had this business for the past ten years with a monthly income of 20,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) which he uses to support his family.

Joseph is applying for his first loan term with KADET Ltd after being introduced by a KADET staff member. Joseph will use this loan to buy goats and bulls for slaughter. With the anticipated profit from the two businesses, he will educate his children. His hopes and dreams are to have a modern butchery.
