Churoloma Group's story

Churoloma is a group of three people who want to improve the quality of life for their families. One of the members is Gloria, a responsible, hardworking woman with a strong desire to move up in life. She lives with her husband and their two children in Salcedo, very close to the city of Latacunga. Gloria works with her husband raising livestock to sell, and currently the business is going very well because they have a good customer base. Now, in order to grow the business she is requesting a loan from Kiva partner FODEMI, which she plans to use to purchase a milk-cow to enter into the business of producing milk and cheese. This business with help her and her husband attract more customers, grow their sales and increase their income, thus improving their quality of life. Gloria dreams of becoming a big milk producer and distributor, and improving the quality of life for her children.
