A loan of $325 helped to buy manure and fertilizer for coffee crop maintenance.

Colombo's story

Colombo, 52, is married living with his wife and five children in a village in the municipality of Morazán, Yoro. Colombo has been a farmer his entire life; he’s always grown basic grains and four years ago decided to grow coffee because the zone is apt for said crop. He sells coffee in various processing styles in the local market. He’s requesting a 6,000 Lempira loan to buy fertilizer to provide good crop care in order to improve quality and yields. His goal is to expand the crop so his family can improve.
