Hawa's story

Hawa, 28, is a single mother with two children. She stopped her education in the 6th grade. Her children are between the ages of 2 and 5, and are currently in school. Hawa is very hardworking and determined to see to the well being of her children. She has been operating a shop for the past eight years where she sells cell phones and starch cards. She started first by selling cold water, and she learned to sell from her friends. She makes a profit when she sells, because she sells fancy phones that are durable. She also uses the profits to attend to the needs of her children. She is requesting a loan to purchase more cell phones and starch cards for the business. Her plan for the future is to build a house.
