Afiavi Aline's story

At 53 years old, Afiavi Aline is married and the mother of a child who is no longer her dependent. She has been selling "bouillie" (a type of hot cereal eaten at the morning meal) for the past several years. She purchases her supplies at a market in Benin.

In order to increase her purchasing power and meet customer demand, Afiavi Aline has sought and obtained a micro loan from Finadev. The income she earns due to this loan will allow her to meet her current needs, and to save for the future.
