Alfajiri Baco Group's story

Christine is the chairwoman of the Community Bank named “Alfajiri BACO”, which consists of five members united in solidarity for receiving Kiva loans with the goal of developing their businesses.

Christine is 40 years old and married. She has five children between the ages of 1 month and 18 years old. She has been active in her business since 2000. She runs a sewing workshop in her environment. Her business is the main resource of income she has to support her family. Christine has already received and successfully repaid twelve loans. Thanks to Hope’s loans, the group members’ businesses have prospered.

Christine is planning with the coming loan to purchase items of good quality that are needed by her clients in order to generate more profit to develop her business and support her family. Her business generates US $60 per week. Her dream is to develop her sewing workshop.
