Asala Group's story

This group is called Asala. It consists of four ladies. They live in Hodiedh, Yemen. The members of group are very trustworthy, responsible, and hard working. They have all known each other for a long time and know each other well. They have many clients, mostly women. The whole group took a loan of 80,000 YER. Salha is a 56-year-old married woman and has 10 children. She has been operating a business of clothing, perfume, and incense sales for 15 years. She started her business when her husband died so she could continue providing her children`s expenses. She requested a loan of 20,000 YER from AMB which she will use to buy clothes, incense and perfumes so that she can provide her customers with a wider selection and better quality product.
