Vicent is a 45-year-old married man with five children living in Kagadi, Uganda. Thirteen years ago he decided to venture into the cattle trade due to its lucrative nature and has since reaped tangible benefits. With the income earned he has been able to build a house for a residence and pay school fees for his children.
He started with capital from agricultural produce sales, which was his original activity when he started this business. Inadequate capital is the factor most affecting the business, while his desire is to own a ranch and hire employees to help expand his business.
Vicent intends to use the loan to buy cattle ahead of the Christmas season.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
