A loan of $1,375 helped to buy crates of beverages to supply her business and keep her customers satisfied.

Belen's story

Belén, 57 years old, is a simple woman. She lives with Máximo, her husband of 30 years. They have three children, two of which live at home with them. Belén is a hardworking woman. She dedicates herself to several activities because her biggest dream is to offer her children a good education and good quality of life.

In the mornings, Belén tends to her six cows and brings them to pasture so that they give good milk. She uses their milk to make cheeses, which she brings to the capital city to sell. Belén is a well-known vender and has many steady customers. With the help of her husband, she also grows corn, potatoes, peas, and quinoa. Not long ago, they began to also sell many kinds of drinks. It turned out that their sales of beer were very high, so now they want to invest more money in this and buy wholesale in order to get the best price per unit and earn more from their sales.

This is Belén's ninth loan with MFP. In all of her previous loans she has been punctual and responsible. Above all, she likes being a part of the association "los pétalos" (the petals), because it is comprised of supportive, enterprising members. Belén will invest the money requested to buy crates of beverages in order to supply her business and keep her customers satisfied.
