A loan of $125 helped to buy animal feed.

Edita's story

Edita, 55, is an unassuming woman living in the company of her husband, Marcial, with whom she has six children only two of which still live with them: Marco and Michel who she cares for in the house she bought from a firm 20 years ago.

At that time, she was part of a great livestock project where she learned all the knowledge necessary to raise animals well. Because of that, she currently raises cows with much dedication; she currently has 15 of them. She also owns quality sheep. Her main activity centers on feeding them so that they will produce good milk because thanks to it she makes cheese that she sells at a good price in her town which is well-known for the good quality of dairy products it has. Now, she wants to continue improving the quality of her animals in order to earn higher profits.

This is her 16th MFP loan. In all this time she’s been responsible and punctual and she enjoys belonging to the “Virgen de Fátima” communal bank composed of mutually supportive people with an enterprising spirit. Edita will use the money to buy nutritionally balanced feed for her animals.
