Clotilde Flerida's story

Clotilde lives in El Fortín in the northern section of the city of Guayaquil. She is 47, married, and has two children, ages 16 and 14 who attend the local public high school. Two years ago, her husband lost his job, and she knows her family's needs. She decided to open her own business selling foodstuffs in her house. She has since added a bazaar and stationery selection. She works hard every day to meet her goal of growing the business. Clotilde will use the loan to buy rice, notebooks, oil, paper, pens, and so forth.
