La Joie Group's story

The "La Joie" group is made up of 3 people who live in the same area. The group's representative, Victoire, is the one with her hand raised in the picture. This is the second time that this group requests financial support from ALIDé in order to raise their business levels.

Victoire is 24 years old. She is married to Jean-Mari and has 3 dependent children, who all go to school. Victoire lives together with her children and husband. She left school at secondary level. In order to be able to meet her children's needs, Victoire has been selling jewellery, necklaces and trays of fresh eggs from her home for around 8 years. She gets her supplies in a market in Benin.

Victoire wishes to increase her inventory of products, with a view to further strengthening her business and better responding to her customers' demands. In order to do this, Victoire is requesting a second loan from ALIDé, together with the other members of "La Joie".

In this group: Victoire, Zouléatou, Pélagie Mahutin
