A loan of $2,550 helped to rent a tractor and hire laborers to dig a water channel.

Arif's story

Arif, 48, is a farmer who breeds cattle for milk and meat purposes. He is married and has two sons. He is an internally displaced person (IDP) and lives in an IDP settlement. He has 10 years of experience in the cattle business.

The village where Arif lives is located in the southern part of Azerbaijan with very rigorous climate conditions. Summer temperatures reach 105 degrees fahrenheit. The main problem in the region is adequate water for irrigation and for animals. Arif cannot afford to build a water channel for his animals. This expensive process requires a labor force and special equipment. When he heard about water loans he was extremely excited and applied for a 2000 AZN loan. He will use this loan to pay for special equipment to rent, like a tractor for making the water channel, and for workers who will dig the land.

He is trustworthy client of AqroInvest and has a good client history.
