Vanna's Group's story

Vanna, a 25-year-old mother of one son, is a rural villager from the Ek Phnom district of Battambang province, Cambodia. Her main source of income is from selling sweets, and her husband works at a construction site for extra income. She has been in this business for 5 years. Vanna has taken a microloan with VisionFund for four cycles and has paid them back with success. With the past loans, she can afford decent daily food. Now, she feels confident that she can sustain her living conditions in a standard condition. Now, she is in a group of four female members, and she is the leader. As a group leader, she will use her portion for ingredients for making sweets, such as sugar, fruit, ice, etc. She hopes to double the income from her business and to maintain her lifestyle.
