A loan of $775 helped to buy merchandise to stock his store.

Ramón Enrique's story

Ramón, 34, is single and has two children. He lives with his parents and children in the municipality of Yoro, Yoro Department.

Ramón used to work as a salaried employee but for about the last two years he’s been selling groceries in a grocery store. He sells basic grains (rice, corn and beans), canned goods, soft-drinks, snacks and cleaning supplies.

Needing to generate more profits to support his family he decided to request a 15,000 Lempira loan to buy pork, chicken and groceries. Ramón hopes to increase sales more since he’s stocking the store with products being requested by his customers.
