A loan of $1,000 helped to buy wire, paper, cardboard, plastic, wax, and colors to make flowers.

María Delia's story

María is 63 years old and has one son. She makes and sells artificial flowers. She makes them by hand with her sister and has done this activity for 50 years. Their grandmother taught them and this is how they have supported their family.

She buys all of the products she needs in the nearest town, which is 20 kilometers from her house. She has to leave her house very early to get back early with the purchases and work on making the flowers.

The loan she is asking Fundación Campo for is to buy wire, paper, cardboard, plastic, wax, and colors to make the flowers. This way, she can make more flowers to use for wreaths and bouquets for All Saints Day, obtaining more income for her family.

She wants to keep working and teach her granddaughters this activity so they can make an income.
