A loan of $800 helped buy tables and chairs for her soda shop.

Nelsy's story

Nelsy, 24 years old, lives with Fredy, with whom she has 2 children, ages 3 and 1. They reside in their own house located in a native community in the central jungle. Nelsy is a young worker. She would qualify as an enthusiastic and responsible person in her activities. Nelsy is involved in various jobs, one of which is farming. But the one that gives her most satisfaction is running a business selling iced drinks, including sodas, soft drinks, beer, and ice cream. To do that, she created an ambience with tables and chairs, in order to attend to her customers. “In my shop,” she remarks, “the customers feel comfortable, because there is music they like and because the place is agreeable.”

The advantage Nelsy has is the zone's warm climate; for that reason, she never lacks consumers. She needs your help, once again, to expand her shop, since often, she has more customers coming in and she has to improvise to find places to serve them.

This is her 3rd loan with MFP. Nelsy promises to make her payments punctually. She belongs to the “New Dawn of the Village” communal bank, and feels content to have such participative fellow members. This 2,000 new sols will be used to purchase tables and chairs to expand her shop.
