A loan of $1,375 helped to purchase sodas, beers, soft drinks, as well as groceries and perishable food to serve her customers.

Dolly's story

Dolly is 24 years old and lives with Miguel, the father of her two children. They live in their own house which is located in a native community in the central jungle. Dolly is an earnest and charismatic woman. She works selling staple products at a store located in her home. She has had this business for five years, since her first child was born. Her store primarily offers drinks, ice creams, groceries, canned goods, vegetables, and more based on what her customers request.

She commented, "I am doing well with the business. The majority of the villagers are farmers and they always eat the products I sell."

Her partner works as a farmer. When the farming work is intense, she closes her store and also helps with the crops. She is very hardworking.

Dolly believes she needs more merchandise, so she is requesting this help. This is her second loan with MFP and she is happy to receive their support. She is a member of the Nuevo Amanecer de la Aldea community bank and says that her fellow members are punctual and serious. With the 3500 soles requested, she will purchase drinks such as sodas, beers, and soft drinks, as well as groceries and perishable food to serve her customers.
