A loan of $800 helped to buy ingredients to make chicha.

Isabel's story

Isabel is 33 years old and married with three children. She lives in her own home in Caserío Sialupe Baca, located 15 minutes outside of the city of Lambayeque.

Isabel makes and sells chicha, a typical Peruvian corn drink. She has been doing this for the past 5 years, and has experience and clientele who recognize her for her good service. Isabel sells the chicha from her home. Additionaly she raises and sells animals. Her husband works as a farm laborer.

Isabel would like to increase her chicha production, and in order to do so needs to buy ingredients as well as materials to enlarge her kitchen. It is for this reason that she is asking for a loan of 2,000 nuevos soles (Peruvian currency) from Edpyme Alternativa.
