A loan of $600 helped to buy animals to sell.

Segundo Nieves's story

Segundo is 48 years old and is married with two children. He lives in his own house in the town of Caserío Sialupe Huamantanga, located 15 minutes from the city of Lambayeque.

Segundo raises and sells animals, which he cares for in corrals located outside his home and sells biweekly to his neighbors and vendors in his region. At the same time, he also works as a farm laborer. With the income he receives from these activities, he is able to cover his family's expenses.

Segundo would like to buy more animals, and fatten them up for sale. For this reason, he has asked for a 1,500 nuevos soles (Peruvian currency) loan from Edpyme Alternativa, in order to reach his goal.
