Mahougbe Group's story

MAHOUGBE is a group made up of four members who live in the same neighborhood in Benin. The group's representative, Félicité, is 36 years old and married. She is the one raising her hand in the photo.

Félicité and her husband have three children, all in school and their dependents. The couple live with their children and jointly take care of the various expenses associated with raising their family.

Félicité left school in first grade. She has been selling various products (maize and charcoal), from her home for almost fifteen years. She is passionate about her work, which allows her to meet her needs as well as those of her children. She buys her goods in Benin.

Eager to satisfy the needs of her customers, and to increase her capital, Félicité is requesting a second loan, along with the other members of the MAHOUGBE group. Thanks to this loan, the group's members will be able to better meet their customers' expectations and to increase their profits.
