Sévèho Rémi is 36 years old and lives in Benin. He attended school up until primary level. He is married to Béatrice, who is a merchant. The couple has three children to support, all of whom attend school. Two of the children are their own. Sévèho Rémi lives with his wife and children and covers the various household costs together with his wife. In order to cover their expenses, Sévèho Rémi has been carrying out a sewing business in his workshop for the past 20 years. He gets his supplies in a market in Benin. With a view to satisfying customer demand and to build up his sewing equipment as well as his income, he is requesting a third loan from Alidé. Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
