In order to increase his stock of products and to better meet his customers' demand, he would like to obtain a third loan, along with the other members of the GBENONKPO 26 group.

Le groupe GBENONKPO 26 est formé de trois personnes qui résident dans le même quartier et appartiennent à un même groupe de tontine. Le représentant de ce groupe, nommé Adéhounlé Olivier, est celui dont la main est levée sur la photo. C’est la troisième fois que ce groupe sollicite l’appui financier de ALIDé en vue d’élever le niveau de leur activité. Adéhounlé Olivier est âgé de 39 ans et est marié à une couturière du nom de Madeleine. Le couple a trois enfants scolarisés et à leur charge. Adéhounlé Olivier n’a pas fréquenté l’école. Dans le but de subvenir à ses besoins et d’assurer les charges familiales, Adéhounlé Olivier mène comme activité depuis dix sept ans environs, la coiffure. Adéhounlé Olivier achète ses produits de coiffure au Bénin et au Nigeria. Dans le but d’augmenter le stock de ses produits et de mieux répondre à la demande de sa clientèle, Adéhounlé Olivier désire obtenir un troisième crédit avec les autres membres du groupe GBENONKPO 26. Ce crédit leur permettra à rehausser le niveau de leur activité et à faire face à la demande croissante de leur clientèle.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients.
