Satyasundar's story

Satyasundar is a 45-year-old differently able person living with his wife and two children who are in school in the small village of Odisha, India. He owns and manages a variety shop where he sells soaps, biscuits, betel, oil, spices, pickles, bread, wafers, toffees etc. and earns 6,000 INR per month. He wants to enhance his business and add more variety of products in his shop like electric bulbs, detergents, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, talcum powder, tooth powder etc. so that he can attract more customers to his shop. He has requested a loan of 40,000 INR to purchase more of what he sells and to add a few more products to his shop. He wants to make his children study in a good school and save some money for their future.
