A loan of $500 helped a member to pay for labor fees.

Kimsan's Group's story

Kimsan, a 25-year-old married father, lives in a rural area of the Dambae district of Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. He has no children.

To make a living, he has been growing cassava on 2.5 hectares of farmland for one year. The current business earns him approximately 40,000 KHR per day and he manages to save about 20,000 KHR each day after daily expenses.

This is the first group loan for Kimsan with VisionFund. He is leading his group of two to ask for a loan of 1,000,000 KHR each. As the leader, he is going to use his portion to pay for labor fees. Kimsan hopes to get a high yield so as to sell it for a good price in order to make a living better.
