A loan of $775 helped to buy livestock feed and fertilizers.

Simon's story

Simón is 40 years old, married, and has a two-year-old child who is dependent on him. He lives in his own home in the village of Chepito Olivos, which is located 30 minutes away from the city of Mórrope in the Department of Lambayeque.

Simón’s business involves raising and selling animals. He raises mostly sheep and chickens. The food they eat consists of natural grasses, corn, Purina feed, and other items. Simón raises his animals in pens made of reeds, wooden planks, and adobe. The animals are sold every two weeks at the markets in Chiclayo. He also works as a farmer, planting corn on his mother’s land.

Simón wants to buy feed for his livestock as well as fertilizers for his crops. For this reason, he is requesting a loan of 2,000 PEN.
