A loan of $500 helped to buy varnish, screws, nails, sandpaper, wood, glue, and paint.

Elio Alfredo's story

Elio is a humble carpenter, originally from Esteli. He has one 6-year-old son. His wife is a homemaker, making him the only one who supports the family. He began to work when he was 15 years old. It was in his cousin’s workshop that he acquired experience and decided to open his own workshop. Little by little he saved until he was able to establish it. He makes doors, windows, cabinets, doors, and tables.

He is requesting the loan to buy varnish, screws, nails, sandpaper, wood, glue, and paint. He has requests to fulfill and he needs raw materials to serve his clients. His future project is to give a good education to his son and expand his carpenter’s workshop, employing more people.
