Maria Yolanda's story

María, 50, is divorced and has no children. She was born in the mountains in Ecuador but has spent most of her life in Duran, Ecuador. When she was married she and her ex-husband opened a vegetable stand in the Duran market. She currently works alone from 6am until 5pm and this is her source of money. Her dream is to be a wholesale merchant and she’d like to export her products abroad. She would like to use the loan to buy merchandise, foodstuffs in general and vegetables.
