Ludy Eduviges's story

Ludy lives in an area in south Guayaquil known as El Suburbio. At 37 years old, she has a profession not common among men, cutting and sewing. She started 15 years ago, learning from her uncle who had the same profession. She really liked it and took several courses to expand her knowledge and improve her technique. Ludy says that for every job what counts the most is experience, which is acquired over time, and she already has a lot. She works Monday through Sunday from 7 in the morning until 6 at night, as long as she finishes the order. her specialty are men's suits, formal dresses, Her are very popular. She also makes shirts, unisex pants, blouses and uniforms. Her workshop is located in her house where she has her machine and her cutting table. The biggest problem Ludy faces is delivering the items once they are finished. She gets around in a lot of buses and theives steal her work. The loan she is asking for is to buy a sewing machine. The one she has is old and needs to be changed. She won't throw it out, but will hhire someone to use it. In the future, she hopes to buy an industrial machine to offer better service to her customers. With the loan, Ludy will buy fabric, thread, etc.
