A loan of $1,200 helped a member to purchase charcoal to sell from home.

Manzarath's Group's story

This is a group composed of two women who mutually guarantee one another. Manzarath, the group's official, is 25 years old, married, and the mother of two children, of whom one is in school. Manzarath has been selling sacks of charcoal out of her home for two years. She gets her supplies from one of the markets in Benin.

With the aim of increasing her sales and responding favorably to the needs of her customers, she requested and obtained a micro-loan from Finadev. The profits derived from this loan will allow her to help cover her child's schooling costs and to meet her needs.
